Sherry Mohr is a nationally certified personal trainer with over 30 years of experience. She is a former NPC competitive body builder, winning 1st place in her first body building show. Among her other certifications, she is a certified cancer exercise specialist working with clients who are in treatment or remission as well as special populations(TIA, MAC, DDD, autoimmune disease, developmental disabilities and rehab). "Working with special populations allows me to assist people in leading the healthiest & happiest lives possible while navigating difficult issues. It's an honor to work with such amazing resilient clients. They are all success stories!"

Consultations are important because clients and trainers spend a lot of time together and we want to be sure it's a good match, skill-wise and personality-wise. During your consultation, we'll determine your starting point, outline clear goals along with expectations so we can create an appropriate plan to achieve them.
Educating my clients in theory and practice are key. A client who understands why, not just how they're training makes a difference in how they approach their training.
I firmly believe training is a partnership. As the trainer, I do all the preparation & planning, provide direction, affirmation & education. My clients show up with a 'let's get it done - can do' attitude to do the work.
In my opinion, exercise and nutrition are not optional. We're given one body. There is no replacement. Proactive fitness will give you an advantage, and that advantage will translate into a healthier, stronger body for the rest of your life!
Everyone has different learning styles and motivation preferences. Some clients want to understand the science behind all movements and others want to jump in and go. Either approach is most welcome.

It's no secret—nutrition is a HUGE part of your training. I'm happy to offer nutritional assistance with direction.

If you need assistance with meal prep, I'm happy to put you in contact with our professional chef who creates amazing, delicious, lean & healthy meals for my clients based on the information I provide.

Our professionally trained chef attended the Culinary Institute of America(NYC) and has over 35 years of cooking experience.

Chef Michael Blackburn has worked in and around New York City, and his career has been split between restaurants, catering, private chef work, some teaching as well as corporate dining.
