I began training with Sherry about 8 years ago! At that time, I had a good amount of cardiovascular endurance from jogging, skating and riding my road bike, however, I wanted to lose weight and get stronger. I had weight-trained for many years, however, my routine had become extremely stale. Even though I was putting in the time at the gym, I was not getting stronger or seeing any visible differences and I was bored with my lackadaisical workouts!
While training with Sherry, I quickly became stronger on my bike and I lost about 15 pounds. People commented to me, 'Have you lost a lot of weight?' Training with Sherry had changed my physique and I loved being able to ride long distances with ease! In the past three years I've had some physical challenges, however, Sherry has been a pro at working around such things and at keeping me motivated. I've learned that we are all going to experience physical challenges with age, however, the stronger we stay, the better we will be able to deal with them (mentally and physically!).
I can't imagine a more creative, caring trainer. Training with her is a joy and she never fails to encourage me! I have a long way to go in getting my strength back, however, every week I work out, I feel stronger and closer to my goals. I can't imagine where I'd be without her! Sherry is a knowledgeable, experienced trainer who genuinely cares about every aspect of your health: diet, cardiovascular endurance, weight training and even your mental state! I don't think you'll find a better trainer or friend anywhere!
