Supplements

As a Certified Personal Trainer, I will provide you with educational knowledge regarding supplementation.

If I am not familiar with a particular supplement or product line, I will be honest and tell you that I don't know. I will research the supplement and provide you with informed, accurate and honest answers. The choice is ultimately yours as to whether to use it or not.

The supplement industry is not federally regulated which is a good thing most of the time and a not so good thing some of the time.

This means any supplement company can add anything they want to the label on their product(s) including the quantity of ingredients or the quality of ingredients. Sometimes the ingredient(s) listed on the label may not be in the bottle. And sometimes a product may contain an ingredient that isn't listed.

Many people are looking for a supplement to be the 'magic pill'. There is no magic pill. It's hard work, determination, commitment, perseverance and sacrifice.

Having said that, there are many good supplements available to enhance your health and well-being on your fitness journey. A good multi-vitamin & multi-mineral are a great place to start.

My advice is to choose companies that have longevity in the supplement industry. And
ALWAYS check with your physician to make sure the supplement you are interested in has no contraindications to your physical and mental health.
