Sherry Mohr is a nationally certified personal trainer who has over 35 years of experience. She is a former NPC bodybuilder, who won 1st place in her first bodybuilding competition.  Among her other certifications, she is a certified cancer exercise specialist who works with clients in treatment or remission, as well as special populations(Seniors, TIA, MAC, autoimmune disease, developmental disabilities and rehab). "Working with special populations allows me to assist people in leading the healthiest & happiest lives possible while navigating difficult issues. It's an honor to work with such amazing resilient clients. They are all success stories!"

I always come prepared so you don't have to be! 

Given the amount of time clients and trainers spend together, consultations are important in order to ensure a good fit in terms of  personality and skill set. During your consultation, we will determine your starting point, outline clear goals and expectations, and develop an appropriate plan to achieve them.

Educating my clients in theory and practice are key. A client who understands why, not just how they're training makes a difference in how they approach their training. 

Training is a partnership. As the trainer, I am responsible for the preparation & planning, as well as providing direction, affirmation & education. My clients show up with a 'let's get it done - can do' attitude.

Exercise and proper nutrition are essential. We are given one body. There is no alternative. Proactive fitness gives you an advantage, resulting in a healthier, stronger body for the rest of your life!

Everyone has a unique learning style and motivational preference. Some clients want to understand the science behind all movements while others want to jump right in. Both approaches are welcome.

It's no secret that nutrition is a critical component of your training.

I'm happy to offer nutritional guidance.

If you need help with meal prep, I'm happy to connect you with our professional chef who creates amazing, delicious, lean & healthy meals for my clients.

Chef Michael Blackburn has over 35 years of experience in the kitchen and received his professional training at the Culinary Institute of America in New York City.

​

Throughout his career, Chef Blackburn has worked in restaurants, catering, private chef work, corporate dining, and some teaching in and around New York City.
